Thanksgiving Community Feast - The Thanksgiving Community Feast is being served at the Holy Cross Center, Onamia from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. on Thanksgiving Day, November 27th.  This dinner is free and open to everyone.  If you wish to volunteer to help us prepare and serve this meal, please call Margaret Hitzemann at 612-462-0794. If you are unable to attend and would like take-out or a meal delivered (within 10 miles of Onamia), please call Cyrilla at 612-388-3515 by Nov. 24th. Reservations are needed for take-out and delivery.  Sponsored by: Mille Lacs Area Social Concerns and Onamia Lions Club.

Thanksgiving Food Gift Bags – The Onamia Food Shelf, along with our Mille Lacs Social Concerns Group, is collecting anything commonly used at a Thanksgiving meal to be put into bags and given out.  These donations can be Thanksgiving food items, gift cards to be used at a grocery store or monetary donations used by the food shelf to buy items for the bags.  Donations can be brought to the Onamia Food Shelf or left at the Holy Cross parish office.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Margaret Hitzemann at 612-462-0794.  

Ecumenical Thanksgiving Prayer Services – Upcoming Ecumenical Prayer Services in our area: Monday, November 24th at 7:00 p.m. at the Lakeview Community Church and Tuesday, November 25th at 7:00 p.m. at the Isle Baptist Church.  Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend! 

Pre-Advent Retreat – Mark your calendars and plan on attending our pre-Advent Retreat! Fr. Bob Rossi, osc will once again be hosting this event to be held on Sunday, November 30th from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. in Holy Cross Center.  The theme this year is: The One Who Comes.  Register by contacting Kathy at the parish office 320-532-3122 – registration is necessary to make sure that we have enough materials and refreshments on hand for everyone.
